Reds, Whites & Brews Wine Walk

Martinborough Wine Merchants is hosting three exclusive tours of the region’s most iconic producers, rarely open to the public.

Walks begin with a coffee at The Village Café before visiting Dry River, Schubert Wines, Cambridge Road and Porters Pinot. The final stop of the day is with local craft brewer Hayden Frew at Martinborough Brewery.

$240 per person, your tour includes:

A look behind the scenes of New Zealand’s most highly regarded wine region.

Meet and talk with dedicated viticulturists, winemakers and brewers in their own environments.

Visit vineyards not generally open to the public.

Your own personal tour guide.

A Platter-style lunch with a glass of wine, plus a second end-of-day shared platter.

Martinborough Cemetery, Puruatanga Road

 
Arthur Flowers Harding was a legendary British born Welsh national rugby player who played a major role in the Welsh win over the All Blacks in 1905. He emigrated to New Zealand in 1910 and died, aged 68, in 1947.
He is buried in Martinborough Cemetery with his wife Izie Winnifred Harding.
